We are always in need of great volunteers to help out on distribution dates.  If you have great people skills, are well organized and love helping others, please fill out the


Working with local animal shelters and schools, educating the public on the importance of spay and neuter and basic animal care.  Contact us if you would like us to do a presentation.

There are many opportunities with FFPR.  We are able to assist with some court ordered hours, call for more info.

Cat Kennels

Our cat/kitten kennels are located at Petco in Brentwood and we always need assistance with spending time with the cats and cleaning.  On the weekends we hold adoption events.

Pet Food Pantry

During our open business hours we hand out FREE food to anyone in need for their dogs and cats.  This coincides with our office duties. 


Foster Home

Can you let a dog or a cat crash on your couch for a while?  As a foster, you will provide a safe and loving temporary home as well as bringing him/her to the veterinarian and to adoption events.  We provide food, medical care and necessary supplies   APPLY HERE



Volunteers work in weekly shifts of 2-4 hours to answer and direct phone calls, provide assistance or referrals to in person clients or on the phone, and return general messages. Volunteers may also be asked to help in clerical work as needed – such as filing, keeping track of inventory – and other projects that benefit FFPR programs and the animals.
